Celebrating the Life of Kenneth Allen On July 17, 2021, Kenneth Allen quietly went home to be with the Lord. Kenneth, affectionately known as Dominic, was the son of the late Dorothea Loyal Allen and Charles Allen. He was educated in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and graduated from Peabody High School in 1975. Dominic loved to draw. He was a skillful, excellent and very talented artist. Some of his paintings were displayed in the halls of CCAC (Homewood) and at PNC Park. On April 21, 1979 he and Tammy Miller were married and to this union, they had two sons. He worked for UPS for 21 years as a pre-loader until his retirement in 2005. Dominic was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend. He loved football and was a devoted Steelers fan, no other team compared. From car seat covers to grilling utensils, if it was Steelers he had it. He also had a love for Marvel & DC comics. As a kid he collected comic books and Black Panther was his favorite. Left to cherish Dominic's memories are his two sons, William (Miller) Allen and Victor Allen (wife Ilene), Tammy Allen (ex wife); three grandchildren, one great grandchild; one sister, Pamela Moore, two brothers, Conrad "Randy" Allen and Ronald (Ronnie) Allen (wife Virginia); nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other loved ones and friends. In Appreciation The family of the late Kenneth Allen would like to express their sincere thanks for the prayers, words of encouragement, love, support and other acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy during this time of bereavement.
