On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, of Swissvale, just having celebrated her 77th birthday on March 21. Daughter of the late Aloysius and Florence Byrnes. Loving sister of Maureen Cioppa and her late husband, Ross of Braddock Hills, Sharon Price and her husband, David of Forest Hills and Tootie (Mary Janet) Stetter of Swissvale. Dear aunt of Kristin Daniels (Gary) of Harrisburg, Kevin Cioppa (Nicki) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Caitlin Mae Anna Price and Patrick David James Price, both of Forest Hills. Loving great-aunt of Faith and Reid Daniels, both of Harrisburg. Will be greatly missed by numerous cousins and friends. Patricia retired as an Administrative Assistant from MSA Safety after over 50 years of dedicated service and mentorship. A lifelong member of Word of God Parish, Swissvale/St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Pittsburgh, she was a member of the choir and Ladies of Charity, and volunteered at the library, gift shop, Lenten fish frys and church festivals. Patricia was also a generous volunteer of her time and talents at various locations of: Family House Pittsburgh; the Swissvale Community Food Pantry where she had also been a Board member; and Blessings in a Backpack. She was proud of her Irish Heritage and was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) Maud Gonne Devision 32. Viewing Sunday, April 3, 3 to 7 p.m. at THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, 7441 Washington Ave., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 4 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Word of God Church, 7446 McClure Avenue, Swissvale. Interment at a later date.
