On Saturday, March 5, 2022, of Regent Square. Wife of the late Paul J. Ballog; loving mother of Mark Ballog and his wife, Leanna, and Christine Scott (Jim), all of Wilkins Twp. Dear grandma of John, Lois, Joseph, Ava and Elyse. Sumi was embraced by her longtime neighbors, the Petrarca Family. She was a loving caregiver to many children in Regent Square and a member of the "Kitchen Crew" at Madonna del Castello and the Ladies of Charity. Friends received 3-7 pm MONDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial in Madonna del Castello Church, Tuesday 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Swissvale Senior Center, 7350 McClure Ave., Swissvale, PA 15218 where Sumi loved to play Bingo.
