On Friday, December 30,2022, of Swissvale. Husband of Patricia Petrowsky Burkhart.

Loving Brother of Mary Pat Valentino and her husband Joseph and the late Robert Burkhart. Dear uncle of James Miskovich, Joelle Matthews and her husband Mark and the late Erik Valentino

Great uncle of Erik and Jacob.

He was a dedicated member of the order of secular Franciscans of Pittsburgh. Al volunteered to give Holy Communion at several hospitals in Pittsburgh for than 25 years. He was a Navy Veteran, worked at E.L Wiggins, and at Woodland Hills School District. 

His sister would like to thank Gallagher Hospice for their outstanding compassion and care for Al over the past 5 months.

Friends received Tuesday only 4 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home Inc. 7441 Washington Street Swissvale, Pa 15218. Mass of Christian Burial in the Word of God Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday 10:00 a.m.
